To help you make a decision, we have listed common questions that people have when considering therapy.

What approach do you use?We utilize a variety of techniques to encourage and support our clients as they move towards their goals. Brianna has had concentrated training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness based approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Along with, she is a Level II Reiki practitioner and Registered Yoga Teacher. She operates out of a Humanistic viewpoint, believing that all people are driven towards self-actualization. Brianna focuses her practice on providing clients with the skill set to necessary to manage and remove all blockages that get in the way of our intrinsic nature to be great.

Do you accept insurance?We are currently in network with BCBS PPO/HMO and State Health Plan. Please note that we are not providers with Blue Home or Blue Value plans. We are considered out-of-network for all other insurers. How do I choose between distance counseling and traditional counseling?Each person is going to be different in their needs and making this a choice that is unique to your situation. Because of certain safety factors, it is not advisable to utilize this avenue as a treatment if you have a history of frequent or intense suicidal ideation or severe substance use disorders that are not in remission. Feel free to schedule a consultation to determine if telehealth would be best for your circumstances.

What is the first session like?In our first session, we will go through and thoroughly assess for your symptoms and factors that led you into therapy. This can be a little daunting to think about but be assured that we provide empathetic and nonjudgmental care. Our assessment allows us the opportunity to get a history of your presenting problems and assist you in identifying your goals for treatment.
